Financial Feed
Intelligence At Scale
Financial research is only as valuable as its reach. It is a perennial problem in the industry. How do you get the right information to the people who will value it?
We worked with Stifel Financial, one of the largest wealth management firms in the country, to develop a bespoke content feed for their financial advisors and customers. What we have made isn’t just creative—it is editorial, strategic, and creative all at once.
Two years in, this has become a living publication: a signature channel that reflects the depth and intelligence of the firm itself.
Mining the Material
The content arrives from across the organization: from the office of the Chief Investment Officer, from brand and partnerships, from the researchers and analysts who read the markets. Our role is to excavate from this rich content easy entry points, powerful stats, and engaging commentary.
The financial research gets transformed into accessible, visually engaging pieces that invite people in. We search each report for creative moments within the technical material. We curate these small bites across the week to form an editorial flow from Monday through Friday. Then we pair these tid-bits with creative elements to bring each of these to life. The entire collection becomes a dynamic content feed.
A Feed With a Voice
Prior to publishing our first piece of content, we developed a unique and on-brand tone, visual language, and voice consistent across every piece. The feed has developed its own personality within the Stifel brand, one that feels contemporary and considered in an otherwise institutional marketplace.
Financial advisors and Stifel clients access this content directly through their wealth management portal, experiencing the firm's research in a way that is immediate and relevant to their own financial information. No digging required.
We create multiple pieces from each source report, giving the audience different ways into the same material—quick reads for the time-constrained, deeper dives for those who want to follow the thread all the way back to the source. Each piece links to its origin, so the content functions as both an entry point and a guide.
Platform Agnostic, Audience Aware
The feed doesn't stop at the portal. Stifel's social channels now draw from the same content ecosystem, extending the reach of the firm's research to broader audiences and reinforcing its reputation as a leader in financial information and insight.
This cross-platform effectiveness isn't accidental. The content is designed to travel—social first in its accessibility, but substantive enough to earn engagement across multiple contexts and audiences.
A Practiced Hand
Steering a project like this draws on an unusual combination of skills: creative direction, yes, but also the instincts of an editor, a publication manager, and a strategist. My background across those disciplines—brand, strategy, editorial, and production—comes to bear here in a way that a purely executional approach never could.
I guide the creative team on voice, visual language, and information hierarchy, keeping the feed calibrated for all the audiences it serves, from first-time clients to seasoned advisors.
Real Results
The feed now averages over 2 million views per month, with high engagement rates across both the wealth management portal and Stifel's social channels. The content has helped the firm increase its reputation as a leader in financial thought leadership—earning trust from prospective financial advisors and customers alike.
Each piece builds on the last. The feed grows with its audience, meeting clients at every stage of their financial sophistication and deepening the relationship between Stifel and the people it serves.
